Hi, I'm Niamh - I love having fun, being myself and helping others to do the same. As a former Social Care Worker and current childbirth educator and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), my journey has been woven with a sh** load of real-life challenges, and determination, in equal measures probably!
My professional career started as a Social Care Worker, then Manager and organizational Trainer, mainly in Homeless Services. After the birth of my first baby my passions changed and this led me to take the scary and exciting leap into teaching childbirth education classes and studying to become a Lactation Consultant. But I struggled to fill my classes and establishing myself as a go-to lactation consultant, constantly worrying about 'the competition'. I sought out guidance and support through mentorship and training. But I often felt a disconnection between the teachings of the 'mainstream' and the needs of expectant and new parents. There was too much focus on selling at all costs and not enough on connecting. So I realised I was going to have to figure it out myself!
With a lot of trial and error I have developed strategies to grow my business, without compromising my ethics or family life (mostly!) and now I help others to do the same. My coaching & mentoring sessions are not just about business growth; they're about fostering connections, honoring authenticity, and finding ways for you to make a meaningful impact.
