I'm Niamh Cassidy, founder of the Pregnancy & Postnatal Entrepreneur's Collective. After training as a Childbirth Educator & Lactation Consultant I left my full-time job in Social Care and set up in private practice. When I set up I found it so hard to fill my classes and to get lactation clients. I worried about 'the competition' and wanted to learn how to stand out. I started to consume all the business content I could. I listened to podcasts, I accessed mentors, I did trainings and I joined memberships and while I learned a lot I found a lot of the 'experts' just didn't understand what we did and the importance of ethics in our work. So I decided I needed to find my own way. I've been able to grow a successful practice and I want to share what I've learned with you. Because I no longer worry about 'the competition', I see all ethical business owners as my peers and believe we can all be successful working together.
