I’ve done business training before, how is this different?
The NEST Programme is tailored specifically for birth and postpartum workers and the strategies have been tried and tested by birth & postpartum workers just like you. It also goes beyond typical business training by focusing on your mindset and giving you support, and accountability. I’m committed to helping you not only learn but also implement what you learn effectively. With NEST, you'll find practical guidance and a supportive community to ensure your success. Not only that but as an early bird you will also get a 1:1 coaching session where we’ll take a personalised look at your current business strategy. If you feel like you’ve done all the ‘right’ things and still aren’t seeing the results you want, this session will help pinpoint where adjustments can make the difference. Sometimes, a fresh perspective on what you’re already doing can reveal new opportunities and help you pivot towards more effective solutions.
How do the payment plans work?
It depends on which you chose.
-If you decide to pay monthly over the course of the programme you will pay your first payment of €247 when you sign up. Your second payment will be delayed until Feb 2025 and then you will have further payments in Mar 25, Apr 25, May 25, Jun 25.
-If you choose the extended payment plan you will pay your first payment of €247 when you sign up. Your second payment will be €113 in Feb 2025 and then you will pay €113 monthly until December 2025.
When does the NEST Programme start?
The NEST Programme officially begins in January 2025, but if you join as an Early Bird by 22nd November, you’ll get an exclusive head start. Early Birds gain immediate access to the NESTer Community and the first two modules, so you can dive in straight away. You’ll also be invited to a group orientation session and receive a 1:1 coaching call to set you up for success before the main programme even kicks off. This head start will give you the momentum and clarity to make the most of your journey in January!
How much time will this take?
The live calls are one hour each week. While you’re welcome to attend them all, I recommend aiming for at least two calls per month to stay connected and get the most out of our sessions. The modules include 2-4 short video lessons (each about 5-15 minutes) with workbooks to help you apply what you’re learning. I suggest setting aside around 4 hours per month, which you can break down in a way that fits your schedule and family life. This flexible structure means you can engage with the programme at a pace that works for you. You will also have access to My Ultimate Digital Planner to help you keep on track.
What is the Learning Hub?
The Learning Hub s the platform where all the on-demand modules live. It is also where your coaching call recordings will be uploaded to, You maintain lifetime access to the learning hub and all and any updates and additions that are made to it in the future. This means you can come back to it again and again and always learn something new.
It sounds amazing but I’m only starting out, am I too new?
Absolutely not, in fact if you’re new, you have a great advantage as I can help you start from the beginning, build solid business foundations and take the right action for you without being confused by all the other strategies out there and without wasting any unnecessary time trying things that don’t work.
When are the live calls?
The live calls typically take place on Tuesdays at 12pm GMT (7am ET) and Wednesdays at 7pm GMT (2pm ET) rotating weekly.
What happens if I don’t implement what I’m learning?
Ultimately, taking action is what will move your business forward, and I know that implementing new strategies can feel overwhelming at times. In the NEST Programme, you’re not on your own—we build in accountability and support to help you take those steps and make real progress. I’ll be there to keep you motivated, help you overcome obstacles, and celebrate your wins. Plus, the community of fellow birth workers in the programme will be cheering you on every step of the way.And if life does get in the way, you have lifetime access to the modules. This means you can return to them at any time, at your own pace. Hi, I'm Niamh Cassidy, antenatal educator, IBCLC and business coach & mentor and I've walked the path you're on right now.
Formerly a Social Care Worker, working full-time, raising smallies and trying to grow my business I faced my fair share of challenges along the way. When I qualified as an antenatal educator I was still working full time and I struggled with filling my classes. For the first two years I cancelled more classes than I ran (or I ran 1:1s at group prices!) because I didn't have the numbers to go ahead, sometimes I had nobody at all! I worried that there was too much competition and that it was impossible to really make a living doing this work.
Sounds familiar, right?
But I really, really, wanted to make it work so I signed up for mentoring & coaching, joined memberships, listened to ALL the podcasts and spent a lot of money on business courses too. Unfortunately, the first few mentors and coaches I had had no idea about the kind of work I did and a lot of what I was learning on podcasts and in courses just didn’t fit with the ethics of the work we do. There was too much focus on selling at all costs (and selling anything whether it was good or not!) and not enough on connecting and making an impact in the right way. So, I realised I was going to have to figure it out myself!
Over two years I started testing and learning and I went from cancelling classes and deleting all evidence from my social media… to proudly booking out classes with waiting lists, being fully booked for lactation clients and finally making the living I knew was possible.
And all of that is possible for YOU too. I'm here to share that journey with you through the NEST Programme where I’ve taken everything I’ve learned, left out everything that didn’t work or felt icky, and only put in what I know works and what I know will give you results too.
